Copyright Policy

Content published on the CABRAL & ASOCIADOS, LAWYERS website We respect the intellectual property rights of others and wish to offer a website that does not infringe those rights. Our Terms of Use require that information published by Members be accurate, lawful and not infringe the rights of third parties. To promote these objectives, CABRAL & ASOCIADOS, LAWYERS has a complaint procedure on the contents published by our Members. Our policies and procedures are described in the sections below. Regardless of whether or not we allow access or delete the content, CABRAL & ASOCIADOS, LAWYERS may make a good faith attempt to forward the written notice, including the contact details of the complainant, to the user who posted Content or take other reasonable steps to notify the user that CABRAL & ASOCIADOS, ABOGADOS has received notice of an alleged infringement of intellectual property rights or other content. Our policy allows, in appropriate circumstances and in our discretion, to disable or close accounts of Members, or groups depending on the case, that repeatedly infringe or infringe on the rights of others, or otherwise publish illicit content. Please note that any notice or notice of opposition filed must be true and must be filed under penalty of perjury. Personal liability may be derived from a false notification or notice of opposition. Therefore, we recommend that you seek the advice of a legal counsel before filing a notice or notice of opposition. Complaints about copyright infringement Notification of copyright infringement: In accordance with the Digital Age Copyright Law, (LDA), CABRAL & ASOCIADOS, LAWYERS has established a procedure for receiving written notices for alleged infringements. CABRAL & ASOCIADOS, LAWYERS has also appointed an agent responsible for receiving notices of copyright infringement. If you believe in good faith that your copyright has been infringed, you may file a Copyright Infringement Notice, or otherwise provide a written communication containing: 1. an electronic or handwritten signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder; 2. a description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; 3. a description specifying the location on our website of the material that you claim is being infringed; 4. your physical and email address or your telephone number; 5. a statement in good faith that the use in dispute is not authorized by the copyright holder, its agent or the law; Y 6. a statement where you state under penalty of perjury that the information submitted in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright holder or that you are authorized to act on behalf of the holder of that right. Notification of opposition: If you believe that a copyright infringement notice has been improperly filed against you, you may file notice of opposition, pursuant to sections 512 (g) (2) and (3) of the Copyright Act of the Digital age. You can fill out the Notification of Opposition form on the claim for copyright infringement, or otherwise submit a written communication containing: 1. your handwritten or electronic signature; 2. the identification of the material that has been removed or whose access has been prevented; 3. a statement in which you state under oath that you in good faith believe that the material was removed or was prevented from accessing it by mistake or was mistakenly identified; 4. your full name, mailing address and e-mail, and a statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the Federal District court, and that you will accept the initiation of the filing of the complaint process or its authorized agent.
